Wessex League

18 ends - 3 Fours (each 4 players with 2 bowls)

This is the only Ladies Fours League which we play in, and is therefore an ideal opportunity for novice players to dip their feet into competitions by playing in position #2, with very little pressure or duties to perform.
All our players can be transported by our designated drivers to away matches.

Tea & biscuits after (sometimes cake too) 

There are 10 Points available for each match and are calculated as follows – 

  • 2 points for each winning rink (i.e. max 6 points available)  
  • If a rink draws then each Team gets 1 point
  • The total number of shots is then added together - 4 points to the team with the highest total of shots
