The day starts at 2pm.

The bar will be open for the non-bowlers,  and with luck, the sun will be shining.

Firstly, we hold the traditional “Spider”. This is a game where all the bowlers line up around the green. A coin is placed in the centre of the green. On the whistle, everyone bowls one wood and the wood nearest the coin is the winner. It’s chaos!

Next, it’s a fun game of bowls along the lines of Monday night Umbrella.

Afterwards, we all line up for a pre-season photo opportunity. Time to show off our new dress code for the 2026 season.

Then into the clubhouse for those who have signed up for the meal
