That information takes precedence over any information on this website or on the club booking system. This includes whether pushers can be used or not, depending on weather conditions.
Greens opening times during the Season
10.00 Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Sunday
11.00 Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday
Before coming to the club for a roll up (even one that you have already booked using BOWLR) please check this daily Greens Status in case any rinks or entire greens have been closed first thing in the morning due to weather conditions, greens maintenance, over wear, damage from natural intruders, etc. If your original rink booking is no longer available please choose another rink that is open.
Our Greens Team work exceptionally hard with our contractors (Avon Sportsground Maintenance) to keep the greens open and in tip top condition, but they also have to take into consideration resting overtired rinks in order to allow the grass to recover. Otherwise long term damage may occur which will have a devastating effect on our ability to play at our best.
Please respect the Greens Manager's decision
Anyone found playing on a closed rink/green will be reported to the AEC.
