Catering

Here is a summary of the duties of our excellent Catering Team, whose kitchen was awarded 5 Stars in an Environmental Health inspection held on 21 March 2024
- To provide hot meals for Presidents Day and for Captains Day.
- To provide any catering requirements for any visiting teams, as requested.
- To liaise with the treasurer to keep any costs within budget.
- To purchase all ingredients and ensure they are available on the day and to transport the ingredients to the club kitchen.
- To ensure the kitchen is thoroughly cleaned after each function and the rubbish disposed of.
- To complete a Level 2 Food Hygiene and Safety for Catering as a mandatory requirement to work in the kitchen.
- To liaise with the Environmental Health Dept of North Somerset Council and to make yourself available for their inspections.
- To be available on some evenings to provide meals for teams playing in various competitions
- To ensure that all the legally necessary paperwork such as the Safer food better business folders are completed as well as fridge / freezer temperatures taken and entered.
- To ensure that any allergenic information is displayed and recorded and included in any menus sent to other clubs.
- To supply and cost menus sent to other/ visiting clubs.
